Ms. Teena is a registered RCI- registered licensed Clinical Psychologist with 7 years of clinical experience. She has previously worked as a Clinical Psychologist at in Behvioural medicine unit and Child and Adoloscent Psychiatry Unit at National Institute of Mental Helath and Neurosciences(NIMHANS) . She has also worked as a Clinical Psychologist and managed Bangalore branch of Rainbow Children’s Hospital Bangalore in Department of Neurology and Child Development Centre. She has extensive knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, evidence based psychotherapy, psychological assessments and rehabilitation.Performing evaluations for wide array of patients representing diverse diagnostic entities. Provide adjunctive rehabilitation-oriented interventions for the treatment of disorders and disabilities. Her areas of sepcialization include Autism, ADHD,SLD, Child Sexual abuse, Depression, Anxiety, OCD , Post traumatic disorders , Eating disorders and Personality disorders.She takes eclectic and reflective approach to therapy, helping them achieve contentment and better quality of life by using Cognitive Behaviour therapy, Dialectical Behaviour therapy, Mindfullness based therapy, Supportive psychotherapy, Acceptance Commitment TherapyShe is also trained in Hypnotherapy and has certification in guidance and counselling.
